Resilience & Co-Resistance: An Update on Reconciling Justice in Israel and Palestine
In a moment marked by grief, urgency, and deep moral concern, we invite you into an evening of prayer, reflection, and conversation about what prophetic witness can look like for us as followers of Jesus in this moment.
Join us at Union Church alongside Jewish Voice for Peace, Washington for Peace and Justice, and the Cut Ties Campaign as we reflect on the ongoing genocide in Gaza and violence in the West Bank, and consider how our own Presbyterian witness and history can help guide us toward a faithful response. Together, we will make space to learn, ask questions, pray, and listen for where God may be calling us in the midst of so much suffering.
As people of faith, we will explore what it means to bear witness, resist dehumanization, and allow our faith to move us toward a response rooted in courage, compassion, solidarity, and hope.
